The Penguins of Madagascar comes out today!

Here are a few of my boards from the movie. Mostly from alternative versions to the final film.
Just looking back through all the sequences i've been laughing. There was some funny stuff!

I'm working on this piece for an art show based on How to train your Dragon. The final version will be on acetate and painted like a cel, but I made this version to see how it would look in colour first.

This gif shows the steps from the first rough pencil drawing to the finished colour version.

I'll post details of the art show when I have them. Should be next month around the time the film comes out.

Weird Shit!

It feels like ages since I last posted anything on here.

In fact, I've not really drawn anything for myself except bizarre doodles 

in meetings and during phone calls.

This creature started life in one of those meetings..

In other news, I've recently moved to the States!

After a couple of months in LA, I'm now living in San Francisco
and drawing penguins for Dreamworks.

It's pretty great.. I'm boarding on a film starring the penguins
from the Madagascar movies. That's probably all I can say right now,
but so far it's been great fun to work on.
